| In India, B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration Courses are generally approved by All India Council of Technical Education and National Council of Hotel Management & Catering Technology which are of 3 years duration. The Ashok Institute of Hospitality & Tourism Management (AIH&TM) with ISO 9001-2000 certification and an affiliation with Kurukshetra University, which celebrated its 50 Years recently, has improvised the Bachelors syllabus based on International standards by adding 4 th year with globally relevant subjects such as International Hotel Marketing , Speciality Catering Operations, Computerised Hotel Operations, Accommodations Management (Interior Design & Renovation), Revenue Management, Event Management, International Hotels & Catering Laws, French Language etc. and introducing Foreign Internship Training (6 months) abroad. | ||

AIH&TM has trained 100 Candidates at Bangalore for Social Welfare Deptt., Govt. of Karnataka during Feb. 2006 - Feb 2007. The next batch is of 175 Candidates for which training started on 21.3.2007.

The objective of this specially designed Course is to develop professional abilities of the selected unemployed Youths of various States of India. The residential Training Program is so planned as to provide an insight into the burgeoning Service Sector with an emphasis on Airlines, Hospitality and Travel Sectors. This course enable the candidates to learn the basics and practical / operational skills needed to be a successful professional.
The Course Module is delivered through theory sessions, lectures, training films, role-plays, discussions and practical training. In addition, since the course focused on ‘Service Sector', candidates participate in all the activities/ assignments of the course to enhance their abilities. This Course is delivered in Bangalore/Ahmedabad and mock Aircraft interior training in Mumbai with utmost professionalism meeting all the Course necessities. |
