An ISO 9001 – 2000 Certified, the Ashok Institute of Hospitality & Tourism Management is run by ITDC in New Delhi. Besides handling the ITDC's in-house training needs, the Institute conducts 4 Yrs. Bachelors Degree Course in ‘International Hospitality Business Management'; Trade Diploma Courses in Hotel Operations and Air Hostess, Aviation, Travel & Tourism Courses.
 
 
INSTITUTE BACKGROUND
 
ITDC set up its in-house Training Centre in 1971.
 
In 1999, the Training Centre received ISO 9001 - 1994 Certification
 
During 2002-2003, after the disinvestment of 18 ITDC Hotels, the Centre was declared a ‘Strategic Business Unit'.
 
In 2003, the Centre was upgraded to ISO 9001 - 2000 Certification
 
In 2003-2004, the Centre was converted as a full-fledged Institute: “ Ashok Institute of Hospitality & Tourism Management” (AIH&TM)
