Piyush Tiwari, Director (Commercial & Marketing), ITDC conferred PATWA International Award 2016 for Best Professional- Business Development (Tourism)

New Delhi, 14 April 2016 Director- Commercial and Marketing, ITDC Shri Piyush Tiwari has been awarded with PATWA International Award 2016 for the Best Professional in Business Development Tourism. The award was presented at the recently concluded ITB Berlin, world’s leading travel trade show at Germany, by Mr. Taleb D Refai, Secretary General United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

Hailed as one of the highest honors in the industry- PATWA International Awards is one of the most reputed awards honoring excellence in tourism, aviation and hospitality sector under more than 50 categories including awards for best professionals in tourism, aviation and hospitality sector, best individuals, hotels, destinations, hotels and airlines among others. PATWA is an affiliate member of UNWTO that aims to develop and encourage travel writing, reporting and communication (print and electronic), which are essential to promoting tourism apart from finding solutions to issues and problems facing the travel industry, through seminars, round tables and discussions involving travel trade professionals from around the region and world.
